NEWCASTLE GATESHEAD INITIATIVE

Newcastle Gateshead Initiative is working with North East partners, the Department for Business & Trade, The Department for Culture, Media & Sports and the Nationwide Caterers Association to deliver a regional hospitality led regeneration project. The aim of the project is to use a team of mobile street food caterers to support tourism and regeneration across the North East by generating footfall, providing jobs and creating new businesses. The team at Funky Indianwali have been instrumental in supporting successful proof of concept events in Sunderland and in doing so, demonstrated their ability to provide great quality food safely and securely as well as their commitment to support regeneration.

HUSBANDS 40TH TAILORED MENU

The food that Nedhi cooked for my husband's 40th birthday was delicious - four veggie curries, home made chappatis and rice. The effort that was put into making this a special at home meal was obvious - thank you! We will definitely be ordering more for our next special occasion.

SEA FOOD PLATTER

We tried the Indian Seafood Platter and it was beautiful. It came for the time I requested and the staff were lovely from booking the food, right up until delivery.

The food was lovely, prawns were cooked to perfection, the salmon was cooked just right and full of flavour.
